RAKSHASA
The Flesh-Eating Entity of Illusion
RAKSHASA
Violent Savage Class
The knowledge presented here is based upon traditional teachings of Tantra, the guidance of my Guru, and experiences gathered during my spiritual journey. These teachings are shared for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as a substitute for proper spiritual guidance. Advanced practices should never be attempted without the blessings and supervision of a qualified spiritual mentor.
Savage Hairy Anatomy & Horns
Rakshasas feature a gigantic, terrifying form covered entirely with thick black hair that conceals their private parts, as they are often completely naked or partially clothed. They possess long horns measuring nine to ten inches, long tangled hair spreading in all directions, large crooked teeth protruding outward, oversized claws, thick lips, and broad faces. Their layout presentation is wild, bestial, and frightening enough to cause ordinary people to faint.
Growling Voice & Violent Temperament
Their voice is deep, loud, growling, harsh, indistinct, and terrifying. Rakshasas are regarded as among the most fearsome, violent, cruel, and aggressive classes of beings—traditionally described as far more dangerous than Danavas or Asuras. They are flesh-eating entities constantly inclined toward destruction and conflict, possessing exceptional physical strength, great cunning, and mastery over complex transformations or illusions.
Sacred Offerings
Alcohol, meat, raw flesh, and tamasic offerings.
Sacred Timing
Exclusively associated with Amavasya (New Moon night).
Divine Abode
Dense forests, mountains, deep caves, desolate ravines, wild wildernesses, remote regions, and Patala.
🔱 Signs of Displeasure According to Traditional Tantra
Affliction or negative invocation triggers the development of violent and aggressive tendencies, excessive consumption of meat and alcohol, persistent anger, hatred toward spiritual practices, disrespect toward sacred traditions, feelings of oppression, and severe harm to life or property.
They are independent beings acknowledging no higher authority, though exceptions exist. Traditional accounts state that Brahmarakshas are more commonly invoked by corrupt practitioners than Rakshasas themselves.
Prescribed Remedies
Traditional methods of relief rely upon major fire rituals (yajnas), devotional worship, chanting sacred names, purification ceremonies, and strict spiritual disciplines under experienced guidance.
