Terrifying & Skeletal Frame
Traditional descriptions portray her as tall and slender, standing approximately seven feet in height with a thin skeletal frame. She has sunken eyes, hollow cheeks, and a terrifying yet powerful appearance. She is clothed sparsely, appears in primitive forms, and wears a prominent garland made of bones around her neck. Her pale, ash-colored, or dark complexion carries powerful occult energy.
Voice & Tamasic Temperament
Her voice is harsh, loud, and commanding. Khankhaniya Vetali belongs to the class of Tamasic Vetalas associated with cremation grounds. In Aghora and cremation-ground oral lineages, she is considered even more formidable than ordinary Vetalas. She is fierce and fearless, yet highly obedient to a properly established spiritual bond, capable of acting without hesitation to assist a qualified practitioner.
Sacred Offerings
Offerings associated with Tamasic rites, along with fragrant flowers such as jasmine and mogra blossoms. The colors red and black are symbolically associated with her.

Rites dedicated to her attainment are traditionally preserved during the five-day period extending from Ekadashi to Amavasya.

Cremation grounds, spaces near burning funeral pyres, isolated abandoned regions, and areas heavily charged with powerful occult energies.

Imbalances or unauthorized attempts at her sadhana manifest as powerful dreams involving cremation grounds, unusual harsh sounds in isolated places, repeated unsettling visions of a tall female figure, and overwhelming sensations of paralyzing fear or awe. She is capable of severe destructive tasks if the spiritual bond is broken.
