SHRI HANUMAN
Strength & Devotion
SHRI HANUMAN
Supreme Embodiment of Strength & Devotion
The knowledge presented here is based upon traditional teachings of Tantra, the guidance of my Guru, and experiences gathered during my spiritual journey. These teachings are shared for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as a substitute for proper spiritual guidance. Advanced practices should never be attempted without the blessings and supervision of a qualified spiritual mentor.
Form & Appearance
Hanuman possesses a radiant and powerful form that inspires joy and devotion. His complexion is traditionally described as fair and luminous. He is often perceived in a height of approximately seven feet, although His actual size is changeable according to His will. His body is muscular and powerful, and He carries His sacred mace. In certain forms, His body is covered with Sindoor. He is generally depicted wearing a simple loincloth and dhoti, and His body bears fine hair.
Voice & Presence
Traditional teachings describe His voice as deep, powerful, and pleasant. His presence brings courage, devotion, and inner strength. Despite His immense power, Hanuman possesses a gentle and compassionate nature. Being the supreme devotee of Lord Rama, He is filled with humility and rarely becomes displezed with sincere devotees. He grants protection, removes obstacles, and safeguards seekers from negative influences.
Sacred Offerings
Boondi Laddus, sweet betel leaves, sugar sweets, and ghee-covered rotis with black gram. Chola Seva is performed on Tuesdays and Saturdays by applying Sindoor mixed with jasmine oil to His image.
Sacred Timing
Tuesday and Saturday are considered especially sacred for the worship of Shri Hanuman.
Divine Abode
Hanuman is worshipped in countless temples throughout India and the world. Devotees believe that He listens to sincere prayers and protects those who remember Him with devotion.
🔱 Signs of Displeasure According to Traditional Tantra
Certain Tantric traditions symbolically associate dreams involving monkeys with Hanuman. Dreams in which monkeys surround, chase, or attack the dreamer are interpreted as indications that spiritual discipline, devotion, and self-reflection require immediate attention.
Traditional teachings state that disturbances in spiritual harmony may manifest through physical discomfort, emotional difficulties, and obstacles in life. These interpretations should be understood symbolically rather than with fear.
Prescribed Remedies
According to tradition, regular worship of Hanuman, devotion to Lord Rama, recitation of the Ramayana, and sincere prayer restore harmony and divine blessings. Feeding monkeys with jaggery, roasted gram, and bananas is also regarded as an act of devotion.
