Towering Stature & Charnel Traits
Hakini is described as possessing a terrifying and awe-inspiring appearance that transforms the local atmosphere with overwhelming fear and mystery. Her true form can reach up to twenty feet in height, featuring a long, slender body with unusually elongated fingers. Her complexion is deep black, dark as the night of Amavasya. She manifests in primitive forms, with long matted, disheveled hair, minimal structural coverings symbolizing her absolute transcendence of worldly customs, and metallic anklets.
Voice & Uncompromising Nature
Her voice is deep, terrifying, harsh, and commanding, capable of producing intense dread even before she becomes visible. Hakini is extremely fierce, quick-tempered, independent, and strictly associated with the raw energies of destruction and transformation. In advanced Aghora and Tantric traditions, she is regarded as a power surpassing even the Shakini. Unlike many subtle beings, some traditions describe Hakini as existing entirely beyond formal devotion and independent of ordinary systems of worship. Oral traditions state her arrival is preceded by heavy disturbances caused by wandering spirits and pretas.

Signs of her proximity or displeased friction include sudden unexplained disturbances in cremation grounds, feelings of paralyzing fear, and highly unusual dreams involving volatile spirit aggregates and dark, ruined landscapes.
