Noble Stature & Majestic Adornments
Daityas possess a gigantic, awe-inspiring true form reaching sixty to seventy feet in height with lightly haired bodies. However, unlike Rakshasas, they present a handsome, dignified, and pleasant appearance when assuming human guise. They are traditionally depicted wearing dhotis with an elegant upper garment, adorned with pearl necklaces, earrings set with pearls, and majestic royal ornaments.
Commanding Voice & Rational Nature
Their voice is described as heavy, commanding, majestic, and dignified. Daityas are generally calm, rational, slow to anger, thoughtful, and highly disciplined. Unlike the common perception that portrays them as purely evil, they are deliberate entities acting after careful consideration rather than blind impulse, and they are capable of both benevolent and corrective actions.
Sacred Offerings
Sweets, rich foods, alcohol, and meat offered during structured ritual frameworks.
Sacred Timing
Amavasya (New Moon) and Purnima (Full Moon).
Divine Abode
Forests, wildernesses, ancient ruins, abandoned forts, remote places seldom visited by humans, and Patala.
🔱 Signs of Displeasure According to Traditional Tantra
When repeatedly ignored, disrespected, or improperly invoked for unrighteous ambitions, their influence causes the individual to become entirely detached, silent, sad, and withdrawn. Symptoms include a strict preference for complete solitude, isolation, and a total lack of interest in worldly activities.
Many Daityas revere Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma, encouraging genuine devotion and austerity. They rarely cause direct physical suffering, and are capable of elevating individuals to great worldly success and influence.

Harmony is re-established through standard devotional worship, chanting, fire rituals (yajnas), purification rites, and aligned spiritual disciplines.
